My written French is not good enough to take a risk to express my sincere appreciation for all these years of your good work, good spirit in the group and the group's ability to allow newcomers to present the best of their skills. I liked all your presentations over the last eight years, but "Hôtel des deux mondes" performed in 2004 remains my favouritve. I was not sure about your this year choice, a comedie by a Soviet writer. What can you tell me about the Soviet times, the system which I know quite well. Kataiev was one of the authors imposed on us during obligatory Russian language classes. But the presentation surprised me very positively: good intrigue, well played by the whole team, funny, simple but well-thought decorations, perfectly well designed and really Russian costumes, and last but not least very good elocution by all participants. I must say that in the past I had to see the same "piece" twice to understand what the whole story was about, but this time just one presentation was sufficient and it is not because my French improved, but rather thanks to your efforts to speak clearly and to help such guys as myself.
